A visit to Scottie Parsons's art studio is always a delight, but my visit to her studio today was especially "lively," thanks to a new creation named Spirito. Scottie was asked to paint this art pony, which will be sold at auction for a good cause later this month. I like to think of Spirito as being a cousin or at least a friend to Pegasus, an "art horse" to accompany the winged horse of literature. After all, the two art forms do so well in the company of each other. I present to you: Spirito by Scottie Parsons. May he ride in the imaginations of us all.
